Oliver turns 3

This is the day we got Ollie from the Humane Society...this is what he did to me-crawled in my hair

For 3 days Oliver went without a name---he inherited the nicknames "Small Fry" & "Munchkin-ie Munchie Moo"

The day we got him home---well he was home!

Within a few days he began to open up and play with all the toys we got him--this green one he played with so much it tattered and we throw it away

A Full And Exciting Day

Two Year's Eve

I can't believe this little boy is two. He now officially tells you how old he is "twwwwwwooooooooooooo"....he is so much fun, a real joy and we are so glad he's ours!

Dinner with Friends

Recently we had dinner with friends from Oklahoma....they brought their 3 girls with them...Blake loved the 3-1 odds! He entertained all night

An Unforgettable Memory

I have no photos but I wanted to write down a memory that I didn't want to forget......

Blake was sick for the 4th of July. For 2 straight days he's had a fever. At one point it was up to 104.1 (yes, I was freaking!) So the nights have been rough, although Blake sleeps through the night pretty good we've been getting up thanks to the fever. Well sometime last night Blake's fever broke. Thank God! But because he's slept a lot over the past 2 days I think he's a little more restless during the night.

Last night I got up with him and we slept on a chair for about 3 hours. I put Blake back to bed where he slept for a couple more hours and then woke up crying. So, an exhausted me, gets him up and brings him to bed. I wanted to sleep so bad!!! So we were laying there together, and Blake started to settle down so I began to drift off to sleep. After a few moments and a little deeper into sleep Blake stirred just a little. I could feel him, but I wasn't moving. He leaned over me and kissed my lips and then cuddled into my arms and went to sleep.

What a sweet little boy! It almost felt like "Thank you for taking care of me while I was sick." Blake, I will take care of you no matter what. You are an angel and a Godsend. I love you too!
