Happy Birthday Anne

Our friend Anne would have turned 28 today. She was full of life and a ray of sunshine and is deeply missed. Anne was instrumental in talking T into adopting a Pug from the Humane Society. After 3 days without a name Anne suggested I use "Nambler" to choose a name for our new dog. So finally I went to her to tell her we named the puppy Oliver. She yelled "Oliver that's PERFECT!!!" The last thing I recalled her say to me was "I can't wait to meet Oliver!"



One of my favorite Anne memories...For me, it's a chore being 30-something and wearing a size 3 shoe (which isn't an adult size!!). Anne was determined to find me some *HOT* size 3 platform shoes. I bet she's found them in HEAVEN (because I don't think they exist on EARTH)

Play Group & That LOOK

On Saturday we went to play group and we met a new friend Jack Michael.....

While Jack Michael graciously posed for the camera, Blake was more interested in the remote!!!! Jack Michael is soooooo cute!


Right now, we are about to transition our car seats to front facing but we haven't gotten the new ones installed. So they are sitting on the floor in our master bedroom. Blake loves to climb in the seat and sit there......

Sorry about that....just got some fabulous photos in from my niece Tiffanie....They visited exactly ONE week before Blake was born, for a baby shower and then when he was 3 months old. Enjoy sweet little Blake pics.....

Birthday Bubbles

So for Blake's birthday party I had a bubble machine out front greeting all the guests as they arrived. I was able to take a few pictures of some of them enjoying the bubbles.....

This is Little Miss Ava....she's a cutie and her Mom...well she's really special to me!





This is Blake's cousin Rebecca or Curly Sue....she looked so cute in that dress, reminded me of Shirley Temple

And this is Thomas....Thomas was such a sweetie....

...no job I gave him was overlooked once the party began. His job was to check the bubbles from time to time and let me know if it ran out of "bubble juice"

...well sure enough just as cake was finishing Thomas came to me and said "No more bubbles." I refilled the bubbles and just in time for the guest to leave....Thank Thomas YOU ROCK!!!
